Shame – anti-EU Protestors Get Violent

Things got rough after a public meeting in Ireland in a lead up to the referendum and a former minister, Proinsias de Rossa, was knocked to the ground.

My anti-EU feelings will be obvious to anyone who reads this blog, but I condemn any use of violence, despite the poor treatment of the Irish electorate by their government in their attempts to secure a yes vote. It is surprising to see such emotion when the UK seems so apathetic on the loss of our sovereignty.

Still, at least the Irish get a vote…
