It’s Political Correctness gone Mad! I – Nativity Plays

I love that saying, so I thought I might start a series of links to PC gone mad stories. Interpret them how you will – Crazy PC loons or Whinging Daily Mail readers – they are always fun stories!

We start with the annual worry about Christmas being under attack with this BBC nativity drama casting Mary and Joseph as asylum seekers (hat-tip to the Telegraph).

I suspect it is a chance to make all opponents of immigration look like baby murdering Herods, but I will reserve judgement until I see it.

Here are some more stories of Nativity Naivity from well meaning PC teachers, protecting poor little ethnic minorities from offense without even consulting them to see if they’d feel offense. Or crazy Christians paranoidically ranting about an imaginary attack on their religion if you will? 🙂

Christianophobia warning from MP – report from the Beeb
And we had to have one from The Daily Mail!

Happy Winterval to you all.
