English Question – brief mention by Heffer

Simon Heffer joins in the anti-Brown columns here, but just before the end pops in a mention of devolution being unfair to England. Only a mention in passing, but any journalists who recognise the problem have to be an asset. Let’s hope for a full article soon, maybe with mention of the CEP.

In a brief aside the Scottish parliament have spent £100,000 replacing signs welcoming arrivals to “Scotland: The Best Small Country in the World” with those saying “Welcome to Scotland”. I bet any signs in England say “Welcome to Britain” and it’d be nice to worry about such things, rather than worrying about gaining our deserved democratic equailty.
